Sinai Christian Academy is proud to announce the hiring of our first Athletic Director! We are excited to welcome to the family Coach Jeffrey “Cas” Wade. Coach Wade will be working to develop an Athletic Department for our children to have the chance to participate in after school sports. He brings to Sinai Christian academy a reputation of success and a dedicated passion for helping positively develop youth through competitive sports.
Coach Wade is himself a native of Linden and got his start in sports playing in the Linden Police Athletic League at the age of 14. He went on to play varsity basketball and football at both Westfield and Linden High School. He received a scholarship to Keystone Junior College in Pennsylvania and later attended William Paterson in New Jersey. Little did he know then that he would eventually embark on a lifelong course of coaching and mentoring youth. Coach wade holds a degree in Education from Union County College and a B.A. in Sociology from New Jersey City University.
Over the years, Coach Wade has been an active volunteer in the local youth sports community. He has coached for the P.A.Ls, the Linden Recreation Centers, CYOs, travel clubs, AAU teams, and has volunteered at Linden High School’s summer leagues and tournaments. He got his first high school head coaching position at the prestigious Wardlaw Hartridge Day School where he led the team to two conference championships. He also held the position of associate head coach at powerhouse Bloomfield Tech. We are truly blessed to have a coach of his stature join us in our mission to provide our Sinai students with the best educational experience possible.
